20 Solar Cell Prototypes That Could Change the Future

It’s amazing what innovative uses people can come up with for using solar cells. Students were tasked to experiment with dye-sensitized solar cells as part of the workshop “Sunny Memories”. See the full slideshow of ideas on the Treehugger site here. flexible-solar-cell-prototype-45-Acedia

  1. Devin MArtin Says:

Instead of the traditional solar panels you form, structuralize, and create the solar technology into a structure similar to the structure of a flower petal. The way the petals are angled and overlapped the sun ialwys directly hitting them, and therefore they get the solar energy all day while the sun is out, no matter the direction. The solar petal would not haveto be in direct sun to get the energy, and as a plus at certain times the light would hit all the angles and would bounce around and reflect into each other{added energy
