Their homes use solar electricity to power a geothermal heating & cooling system installed in your new home. The solar systems installed in your new home will use a reversible electrical meter. During sunny summer days you will likley generate more electricity than you can use and you will be selling the excess electricity back to the utility company. In the evening and on cloudy days, you will be using more electricity than you are generating and you will be purchasing electricity. You will only pay for the net difference between what you generated and what you used each month.
