Green Mountain Coffee RoastersgroSolar is pleased to partner with Green Mountian Coffee Roasters to add solar energy solutions to GMCR's employee benefits portfolio. Through the Employee Green Benefit program, groSolar can offer significantly lower costs of buying solar for GMCR employees when compared to standard retail prices. 

Green Mountain Coffee has shown a significant committment to solar energy with financial support of this program. Details are as follows:

  • GMCR will donate $1000 towards the installation of an employee's solar electric system
  • groSolar will discount the cost of the installation by $0.25 per watt which means that their savings increase with the size of the system!

  • Remaining up-front costs for a solar electric system that is sized to meet your power needs: $0! That’s right, $0 out of pocket costs to go solar!
  • You then pay monthly for the solar power produced by your system at a price per kilowatt hour that is equal to or lower than today’s utility rates.
  • Your rate for solar-powered electricity is fixed for 18 years, guaranteeing that your cost of power will not increase.
