Job Description:
Summary:
Manage and develop targeted community marketing campaigns including referral programs and group-purchase programs. Expand existing relationships with referral base and increase quantity of referral-leads by cultivating long term, mutually beneficial relationships with previous customers and community advocates. Expand and replicate community-group purchase and education programs including the Green Benefits Program, and partnerships with community-organizations. Build the groSolar brand as a leader in the communities we work in, working closely with Sales to meet objectives.

Applicant Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication and relationship building skills and a desire to work in a dynamic and growing company committed to environmental sustainability. Applicants must also have the following qualifications:

• BA Degree in Marketing or at least 3 years of relevant B2C marketing or grassroots campaign experience
• Grassroots organizing at local, regional and national levels
• B2C marketing including media advertising and viral and event-based communication campaigns
• Multi-media content management/creation
• Renewable energy sales/marketing or other community-values based organizational experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in renewable energy field and/or progressive political campaign experience strongly preferred
