groSolar Expands Engineering and Construction Department

White River Jct., VT, and Columbia, MD – February 14, 2014 – groSolar has announced the growth of its engineering and construction team with recent new hires and management team promotions.  Terrence Hottle joined groSolar as the Director of Project Management and brings experience in development, engineering, implementation, and overall management.  His resume covers a range of energy projects including renewable energy, district energy, distributed generation, and large-scale power generation projects for major worldwide corporations.  Previously, Mr. Hottle was a Project Executive and Regional Operations Manager for Johnson Controls.  He is a registered Professional Engineer with a BSME from Purdue University. 

In addition, members of groSolar’s management team were recognized for their contributions to the success of projects and their exceptional attention to project delivery and client service.  Jay Miller, promoted to Director of Engineering, has 20 years of experience in power generation, including 11 years in commercial and utility-scale PV solar generation facilities.  Mr. Miller's specialties include energy production modeling, data acquisition system design, and utility interconnection.  Tom Lyman has been responsible for the successful delivery of groSolar’s largest and most complex projects over the past three years and has been promoted to Director of Project Management.  Prior to joining groSolar, he was a Senior Project Manager for EllisDon Corporation, an international construction management company.
