groSolar engineered and constructed two solar arrays at OG+E’s Mustang Energy Center in west Oklahoma city – a 2 MW AC single axis tracking array and a 500 kW AC fixed tilt array.  The completion of this project represents one of the most significant solar developments in the State of Oklahoma to date and is part of OG+E’s continued commitment to being an affordable, reliable, safe, and environmentally responsible energy provider.  The Mustang Solar Project is unique in that it is designed as both a testbed of solar technology for OG+E while providing real power to the utility’s customers – the project can generate enough electricity to power approximately 500 homes.
