Seasoned solar veterans, Jeff Taylor, Jeff Haas and Doug LaGrone expand the groSolar distribution team
White River Junction, Vt. (May 10, 2010) – National solar leader, groSolar announced today two additions to their growing distribution team and a new Vice President of the distribution channel which serves hundreds of dealer-installers nationwide. Newcomers, Jeff Haas and Doug LaGrone, bring 10 plus years of experience to the groSolar distribution sales force, which is now led by solar industry veteran Jeff Taylor as the new vice president of the channel.
Jeff Haas, who has accepted the position of Regional Account Manager for the western U.S., comes to groSolar from his VP of Sales and Marketing role at AEE Solar. Haas spent the last five years focused on serving the western U.S. solar market and his professionalism and familiarity with his customer base and their challenges will have an immediate impact on growth in the region.
Doug LaGrone joins groSolar in the role of Regional Account Manager for the central U.S. LaGrone comes from Kyocera Solar, where he spent over seven years developing a dealer network, growing industrial component & systems sales and managing national original equipment manufacturer sales in the central U.S. His success in these markets makes LaGrone a perfect fit for the groSolar distribution team.
“Jeff and Doug bring an incredible amount of solar wisdom to groSolar and instantly improve our ability to serve our customers” said Jeff Wolfe, CEO of groSolar. “We’re thrilled to have both of them join the team and are looking forward to continuing our market expansion under Jeff Taylor’s leadership.”
Jeff Taylor, a former groSolar Regional Account Manager, has accepted the role of VP of groSolar’s distribution channel. Taylor brings over thirty years of solar thermal and PV experience to the groSolar team and is uniquely qualified to lead the distribution channel through its next growth phase.
“I’ve been in this business for a long time but I have never been more excited about the potential for dramatic growth of the solar industry,” said Taylor. “We’re investing in a new growth-phase for groSolar to drive more value to our exploding network of dealers who recognize groSolar’s national leadership in terms of technology and business processes. The end result will be more solar on more roofs across the nation, furthering our mission to create a clean energy future for America.”
