Company Supplies Solar Energy System for Bob Vila Home Renovation Project
January 29, 2007 - groSolar CEO Jeff Wolfe was featured on an episode of the Bob Vila television show. The company, among the nation's premier solar energy firms, was chosen as the solar "go to" for the episode which aired February 24 and 25.
"The Bob Vila show was a fantastic experience for groSolar," said Wolfe. "And we're thankful to Bob and his staff for promoting the importance of solar energy."
In this fourth project of season two of Bob Vila, a Norwell, Massachusetts couple decides to add on to their home to make room for their mother who wants to move closer to family. Along with many other high-efficiency endeavors, the home has a solar roof to help reduce the family's utility bills and usage.
groSolar will also be featured on the BobVila.com website, as the only solar company in the "Showrooms" Renewable Energy category. According to Wolfe, "BobVila TV speaks to mainstream homeowners who are remodeling their homes. Bringing solar power information to them is part of the groSolar mission to create a national solar brand, making it easy and convenient to find a trusted contractor for solar power projects."
The series began the week of January 29, with the groSolar portion airing the weekend of February 24 and 25. The entire series is scheduled to air again in early August 2007. For station listings, please visit www.BobVila.com.
