groSolar will be at Solar Power International (SPI) this October 12-14 at the LA Convention Center in Los Angeles. Stop by our booth, #931! SPI is the largest PV industry tradeshow and conference in the solar industry. Over 1,000 exhibitors and nearly 30,000 attendees will be there. Will you?
In addition to our booth at SPI, our CEO, Jeff Wolfe, will be presenting during public night and will also be speaking on a panel. The details are:
What: Jeff Wolfe presenting “Climate Presentation, Problems and Solutions based on ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ and ‘Our Choice’ by Al Gore”
Date: Wednesday, October 13, 2010
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Location: Los Angeles Convention Center
Description: Presented at the free “Public Night” of Solar Power International at the LA Convention Center. Attendance at the talk and for the exhibits if free to the public. The Climate Project’s (TCP) mission is to educate the public about the harmful effects of climate change and to work toward solutions at a grassroots level worldwide. Each TCP Presenter delivers a version of Gore’s slideshow based on his best-selling books and the Academy Award-winning documentary film “An Inconvenient Truth”. As part of this select groups of 1200 individuals in the US chosen to become TCP Presenters, Jeff completed the TCP training program in 2007. Less time is spent on defending the climate science, and more solutions are now presented in the slideshow, since climate change is now more widely understood and accepted.
What: Jeff Wolfe Speaking at “Wholesale Distributed Generation: FITs, Standard Contracts, Auctions, and the Next Big Thing in U.S. Solar”
Date: Thursday, October 14th
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Los Angeles Convention Center, Room 515B
Description: Wholesale distributed generation is one of the fastest growing and most exciting new solar markets in the country. These facilities have sufficient scale to deliver low prices to ratepayers, and virtually unlimited siting opportunities. Come learn from the experts about the multiple business models, programs, and market participants that are emerging to exploit this market opportunity. The panel will feature presentations from leading utilities, solar companies, and policy experts about current events, and a moderated discussion about future developments.
Hope to see you there!

Jeff got more air time at Solar Power International last week talking about groSolar’s marketing efforts with Solar Fred. For those of you not involved in the day to day world of solar marketing, Solar Fred is a blogger on RenewableEnergyWorld.com, a partner in SolarPowerRocks.com and consults on solar marketing.
Check out the video of Jeff talking with Solar Fred about marketing.

Zep Solar is the industry’s first auto-grounding, drop-in mounting solution and we think it’s going to revoutionize the PV installation business. The Zep Solar system eliminates rails typically used in photovoltaic installation. No rails means it’s easier to ship, warehouse and install. This reduces installation time and material waste and enhances the structural rigidity. Zep chose to partner with groSolar because of our multi-channel leadership across North America. Solar Power Internaitonal ‘09 is the big coming out party for Zep. The system can be seen in our booth, #309. It’s pretty impressive to see how quickly an array can be installed. Check out Zep if you’re in Anaheim.
