Jamie Resor, Chief Executive Officer, Member of Board of Directors Mr. Resor is groSolar’s Chief Executive Officer, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors.
He joined groSolar in 2007 and has been Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer before assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Mr. Resor has been involved in all aspects of groSolar’s business including the sale of its national residential division in February 2011. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has testified before Congress on renewable energy and international finance topics. Prior to joining groSolar, Mr. Resor was the COO and CFO of a software company from its inception until sale. During the 1990s, he was with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s largest private environmental organization. At WWF, he developed and executed “debt for nature” swaps and other financing mechanisms in more than ten countries and advised the U.S. government on debt restructuring programs in Latin American, Asia, and Africa. Earlier in his career, Mr. Resor worked in banking and management consulting. He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Frank Griffin, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Construction
Mr. Griffin is groSolar’s Executive Vice President of Engineering and Construction with responsibility for engineering and construction of commercial and utility-scale projects. Under his direction, groSolar has successfully completed construction of solar PV projects on the East Coast and California. Prior to joining groSolar, he was Vice President and Regional Development Manager for Lane Northeast, LLC, a multi-family real estate developer affiliated with Lane Company in Atlanta, where Mr. Griffin developed projects valued in excess of $200 million. He was Senior Manager at Mesirow Financial Real Estate, Inc., dedicated to the University of Illinois at Chicago, South Campus Development, a $1.2 billion mixed-use redevelopment which includes retail, student housing, adaptive reuse, public parks and greenways, infrastructure, and 900 units of for-sale housing. Mr. Griffin’s landfill and brownfield remediation experience includes capping of more than 300 acres of landfills in four states and design-build of liquid and gas treatment systems. Mr. Griffin attended Lehigh University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Pennsylvania State University where he received his Master of Business Administration.

Steve Remen, Executive Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Remen joined groSolar in 2012 as their Executive Vice President of Business Development and brings deep energy sector experience as an engineer and project manager, completing large-scale generation projects with a broad range of utility, corporate, financial, and government partners. In addition to serving as the Massachusetts Commissioner of Energy where he had responsibility for energy policy and programs within the state, Mr. Remen started and grew two successful sales and marketing teams which generated revenues in excess of $300 million annually. He’s also highly experienced in project development, having developed several power generation facilities totaling more than $250 million in value. Mr. Remen has an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and held Registered Professional Engineer licenses in the states of New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Florida.

Rod Viens, Executive Vice President of Operations
Mr. Viens is groSolar’s Executive Vice President of Operations and manages PV equipment procurement and logistics, as well project management in the Northeast. Prior to the company’s sale of its residential division, Mr. Viens oversaw the direct residential and small commercial installation operations which constructed multiple megawatts of solar in ten states. Mr. Viens's commercial project management experience at groSolar has included multi-residential commercial buildings, schools, and the Air National Guard ranging in size from 100 kW to 2.3 MW. Prior to joining groSolar, he was Vice President of Operations and Business Development for Yankee Barn Homes, a nationally distributed post and beam home manufacturer, where he established and oversaw the installation construction division and was charged with improving overall company processes. Mr. Viens graduated from Keene State College with a BS in Management.

Paul Coughlin, Senior Vice President of Procurement Sales
Mr. Coughlin is groSolar’s Senior Vice President of Procurement Sales for the electrical and solar contractor market. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the solar industry with deep knowledge and experience of the residential and commercial project markets. Over the years, Mr. Coughlin has assisted in the growth and success of some of the most successful and prominent solar contractors on both the East and West coasts. Mr. Coughlin's career in solar started in the mid-90s in production and warehousing prior to being a key member of initiating a contractor program for Atlantic Solar Products. In 2001, Mr. Coughlin successfully launched a residential contracting company in California and was then recruited by AstroPower to be a key member of Home Depot Solar’s initial launch into the PV Industry. Mr. Coughlin has served on the board of NYSEIA, as well as on committees of MDVSEIA and MASEIA and has been a frequent presenter for Solar Energy International’s (SEI) “Successful Solar Business” course and SEI’s NABCEP certified sales training.

Jeffery D. Wolfe, Co-Founder, Chairman of Board of Directors
Mr. Wolfe co-founded groSolar in 1998 and was Chief Executive Officer for nearly 14 years. He is currently non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Wolfe is a recognized leader in the solar energy industry and a leading voice on solar energy policy throughout the U.S. He is the elected chair of the PV Division of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), the country’s leading PV trade organization and a frequent speaker at industry events. He also serves on the Union of Concerned Scientists National Advisory Board and is one of only 1,000 people in the U.S. trained in presenting Al Gore’s climate change presentation. Prior to forming groSolar, Mr. Wolfe was a partner at Bard, Rao + Athanas Consulting Engineers, where he started and ran branch offices in Hanover, NH, and Chicago, IL. Mr. Wolfe received his BSME degree from Cornell University.

David Kirkpatrick, Member of Board of Directors
Mr. Kirkpatrick is a Managing Director and co-founder of SJF Ventures, a venture capital firm with offices in Durham, NC, New York City, and San Francisco. He joined groSolar's Board of Directors at the time of the Series A equity financing in September 2006. SJF Ventures was the lead investor for that financing. Mr. Kirkpatrick has broad experience as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist in the clean energy arena. In the 1980's, Mr. Kirkpatrick co-founded and directed SunShares, an early solar energy and recycling company in North Carolina. He was named National Recycler of the Year by the National Recycling Coalition in 1996 and Practitioner of the Year in 2005 by the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance. Mr. Kirkpatrick earned a BA in Physics and History from Duke University in 1982 and an MBA from UNC Business School in 1991. He also serves on the Boards of B.B. Hobbs, Inc., Ed Map Inc., the NC Sustainable Energy Association, and the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership.

Chris Sorrells, Member of Board of Directors
Mr. Sorrells is a Managing Director with NGP Energy Technology Partners, L.P ("NGP ETP"), a Washington, D.C-based private equity fund with approximately $500 million under management investing growth equity capital in companies providing technology related products and services to the oil and gas, power, and alternative energy sectors. NGP ETP is an affiliate of NGP Energy Capital Management, a premier investment firm with over $9.5 billion of cumulative capital under management. Mr. Sorrells serves on the Board of Directors of Lehigh Technologies, Renewable Energy Group (NASDAQ: REGI), and GSE Systems (NYSE Amex: GVP). Prior to joining NGP Energy Technology Partners, Mr. Sorrells worked at Clarity Partners, an $800 million private equity firm. From 1998 to 2002, Mr. Sorrells worked at Banc of America Securities in both the natural resources and technology groups. He founded and headed Banc of America's Energy Technology Investment Banking Group from 2000 to 2002 and served as the lead banker on a broad range of transactions, including deals for Evergreen Solar, Caminus, Artesyn Technologies, Millennium Cell, Encorp, and SoftSwitching Technologies. Mr. Sorrells holds a BA from Washington and Lee University, a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the College of William and Mary.
